Become Better Brands

Wondering what it takes to become a better brand?

mingle
If you haven't heard of a MingleStick, don't worry - you will. These mighty little gadgets will essentially eliminate the need for business cards. The MingleStick is a small, inexpensive key chain- like device that exchanges information at the click of a button. If you want to exchange information with someone, all you do is point and click.

This is one of those inventions that I find myself wondering, "Why didn't I think of that?!" The idea is so ingenious, yet so simple. These would be ideal not only for business, but for moms and students as well!

One MingleStick can hold up to 500 "mingles". Don't worry, you don't trade personal information right off the bat. Initially, the two devices only exchange ID numbers, which make reference to your online account.

I could see some hilarious situations happening with this new trend. What if you don't want to "mingle" with someone? From my understanding, you can rush to the nearest computer and delete the connection. You can login to your account at any time and control the information you share, as well as disclose additional information to those that you choose to.

It might take awhile until you can meet a mom at the park and exchange information via Minglestick, but I think this new device will catch on like a wildfire in the business world. You can purchase your MingleStick at their website for $19.95. For businesses and events, you have the option of purchasing larger quantities and even your choice of color and logo.

This sounds pretty great for in-person networking, but they would need to have a mingle stick too! Plus, many people take pride in the deisgn of their business cards as it is part of their brand. This could be really good for new employees who do not have their own business cards, but still want to appear professional. I am definitely intrigued.
